Abdi Nazemian is a screenwriter and author who made a notable entrance into the literary world with his debut book, The Walk-In Closet, which received the Best Debut award at the Lambda Literary Awards. Prior to his novel, Nazemian enjoyed success as a Hollywood screenwriter, serving as a staff writer on NBC’s The Village and writing films such as Menendez: Blood Brothers for Lifetime Television. As a young man, he traveled with his family to various exciting places, including Paris, Toronto, New York, and Tehran; however, Nazemian always had a preference for reading, a passion that would benefit him in his future endeavors.
