James Redfield

James Redfield is an American author renowned for his book The Celestine Prophecy, which he self-published in 1992, making it one of the most successful self-published works in history. Raised in Alabama, Redfield developed an interest in Eastern philosophies early on. He pursued a major in psychology at Auburn University and later obtained a master’s degree in counseling. After working for several years as a therapist, he decided to focus on writing full-time. The Celestine Prophecy remained on the New York Times Best Seller list for over three years and has also been adapted into a film.
